Here’s a pretty in pink semi-naked cake we created for a rather stylish Hen Party (or Bachelorette Party if you’re reading this Stateside) recently! What’s not to love about it? It features all kinds of pink, is topped with Rose Gold macarons, AND it’s a fruity Raspberry Chambord flavour. We also added some of our bubblegum pink meringue kisses finished with a rose gold splatter.
Now let’s talk about the macarons. They’ve become SO popular in a past fews years that these days a semi-naked cake feels unfinished without them! This pretty cake has a mix of blush Raspberry Chambord macarons and glistening Rose Gold Prosecco macarons. Filled with a fruity raspberry buttercream and a dollop of Chambord infused raspberry preserve our Raspberry Chambord macarons are always a favourite. We also add a little Chambord liqueur into the buttercream to add a hint of booziness. Our Rose Gold Prosecco macarons are painted with a shimmering rose gold before being filled with Bottega Gold Rose Gold Prosseco! Definitely a favourite!
We get a lot of people messaging and even calling asking where our tableware comes from so… The blush pink and gold teapot is by the fabulous Bombay Duck London. As for the pale pink cake stand (one of our favourites) you can bag yourself one here.
Pink semi-naked cake heaven!
Even more macarons and pink meringue kisses surround the cake. Sprinkled on the top are light pink sugar strands from the stylish Fancy Sprinkles along with blush sugar pearls!
The custom pick included on this pink semi-naked cake is actually gold. We shot this cake in natural light so a slight shadow created a darker look to it.
That Rose Gold Prosecco macaron is just irresistible. Rose Gold is still such a hugely popular colour this year. Teamed with blush, different shades of mid pinks and soft grey tones it’s such a luxurious metallic.
Isn’t this the perfect cake for a modern Hen Party or even Bridal Shower!
